Imagine

Updated: Mar 2, 2022

Albert Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.”

If you have ever seen me give a presentation, you’ve probably heard me talk about how people wanted to fly long before anyone ever invented the airplane, but it took someone with the right imagination to tap into those dreams and create a way for air travel to come true.

I love watching great magicians and illusionists. I’m amazed at their ability to perform feats that don’t seem logical. It makes you believe that anything is possible.

I love hearing stories of inspirational people who have overcome extraordinary odds to achieve great deeds. I’m amazed at their capacity to not accept their circumstances, but remain positive and push through despite their situations.

I love reading books written by talented writers and great communicators. I’m amazed at how they can use language to weave stories, teach principles and capture my imagination.

I also love hearing about brilliant leaders and thinkers. I’m amazed at how they can influence those around them and make a difference in important issues around the world.

I see people who do amazing things – illusionists, inspirational people, writers and leaders – and wonder how they do it. Is it magic? Are they born that way? Or do they work hard at their craft, persist in the face of disappointments, maintain their fascination when solving complex problems and believe in their ability to perform at an elite level?

You know the answer. Go and make magic happen. Because with the right amount of imagination, anything is possible!
