Let’s take some time to talk about your dreams. Not those foggy, imaginative, ones you have while you are sleeping, but the dreams about things that you want to see happen in your life. Many of us have dreams that we’ve been holding on to for a long time, maybe even since childhood, that we can never quite seem to grasp. The dreams of the heart may fade over time but we never truly forget about them.
I want you to think about your greatest, unfulfilled dream, as though it were a tiny acorn. If you were to simply place the acorn on the corner of your desk, it would dry up and stay the same. That’s because the acorn was not placed in an environment conducive for its growth. But, if you were to plant the acorn in the ground, it would grow over time and eventually turn into a beautiful oak tree. Placing the acorn in the correct environment means that the tiny seed has everything it needs to fulfill its potential. If you were to pop an acorn open right now, you wouldn’t see anything that looks the least bit like an oak tree but that doesn’t mean that the tree won’t grow.
What is your dream and are you helping it grow?
Here’s the thing: your dreams have a pattern, with a definite start and a finish but there’s a big maze in the middle. It’s easy to get lost in that maze, and it can sometimes feel like you’ve hit every possible roadblock, that you will never get to the end. Don’t lose hope! There is a reason why that dream is so precious to you, why you are still holding on. Go for the gusto.
I would love to hear about your dreams and help you create a clearer path out of the maze. Take advantage of my FREE 15 minute coaching call by picking your time here: deanstorercoaching.youcanbook.me
