On the Potter’s Wheel

Updated: Mar 27, 2022

Imagine a potter sitting at his wheel. He takes the clay, adds water, and puts it on the wheel to mold it into a new shape. It’s amazing to watch how skilled artists can transform a lump of wet clay into something beautiful.

Think about your life as a lump of clay. Christ is our potter and we’re the raw material. Sometimes, we jump off the wheel, but Jesus puts us right back on, patiently shaping us into strong, beautiful, people. Other times, we think we’re finished but we jump off the shelf and break. But, Christ has the ability to remold your life and to put the broken pieces back together without a single crack.

Tip to Take Away

Stay on the wheel; don’t jump off course because of fear. Let Jesus shape you into the person you were meant to be.
