We’ve all heard the phrase “birds of a feather, flock together.” People say it all the time but what how does it apply to our daily lives? Think about geese and crows. They don’t both fly in “V” formations; geese fly with other geese and crows fly with crows.
Isn’t it interesting that when we get stuck, when we hit a roadblock, we go to someone who is like minded? When you’re going through a divorce or when you have trouble in your business, you will probably go to a friend who has gone through the same thing. When we’re struggling and we’re trying to figure out what to do, we will approach someone who is either in the same situation or has experienced it in the past.
Why do we do that? Because they can relate to our problems. Why don’t we go to someone else instead, someone who can help us move to the next level, to take away that roadblock? When you break away, you can begin to understand that there are voices out there who do not serve you, who keep you stuck.
